How To Get Your Motorcycle Licence

Have you always wanted to get your motorcycle licence?
Does your heart beat faster when you hear the sound of a bike roaring?
Tired of riding "bitch"?
Got a mate who always talks smack about getting their licence "soon"?

For me, months turned into years and years turned into over a damn decade! Being a sole parent with all of the 'excuses' turned my motodreams into dust. It wasn't 'till after I hit 28, I finally got my shit together and got my licence. Five years later; I'm still a working-&-full-time-single-mumma, still far from financially fit, still don't know the meaning of 'spare time', my Mum still hates motorbikes and I still procrastinate in almost everything.

But I'm owning all of the above because riding has given me a stronger mentality to cope with life. I now experience a form freedom I had never felt before and the people I've met in the moto community are just ridiculously lovely.

If you read though our Her Story articles you will see these similar phrases almost on repeat... "I took forever to get my licence" then followed on by "Getting my licence changed my life" and damn, ain't that the truth!

We get a lot of messages from people who have been inspired by our feed telling us they want to get their licence. We want to help and encourage you all to take that next step, so we have reached out to the crew from Stay Upright Australia to feed you with all the information you need to get your motorcycle licence.
